Ivan & Magda
Ivan and Magda were married on the lawns of the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne on a perfect February afternoon. The ceremony was filled with romance, love, laughter and tears. There was a lot of emotion felt and expressed as well as a lot of joy experienced by all who attended.
Our experience with Deborah from the very first meeting was special and personal. We didn’t have to worry about anything other than focusing on our vows and any personal touches we wished to incorporate in the ceremony.
Everything was organised well in advance and every little detail was covered and taken care of for us. Her advice and suggestions were well received in particular on things we would have never thought of.
She made sure it was planned perfectly, after all, we plan to only do this once. Her professionalism before and on the day of our ceremony was exceptional. Deb definitely added a classy touch to our special day.

Sally & Richard
Sally and Richard’s wedding was the first ever to be held inside Her Majesties Theatre in Melbourne. They were married in the lounge of the Theatre then took their guests to a matinee performance of the musical Mama Mia.
Deb you look “joyful”. You looked like you wanted to be there. Your joy is contagious and therefore everyone around you also relaxes and has fun.
You have a gift. And we are honoured to have met you.

Nick & Isabelle
Isabelle and Nick were married at Stones Winery in the Yarra Valley on a wonderful April afternoon. The chapel was full of their family and friends and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place from both crying and laughing.
Deborah contributed significantly to making our day so special. So many people actually asked “Was Deborah a friend of yours?” or “Where did you find Deborah?”
The reason for this was because Deborah did such a great job of bringing out our personalities, which many people commented on also. Deborah was very diligent in her preparations, spending many hours with us, getting to know us at a deep level.
Deborah has a fun, friendly, bubbly personality herself which we thought suited our personalities perfectly.
We were very lucky to find Deborah and would have no hesitation in recommending her as a wonderful marriage celebrant.

Justin & Cara
Justin and Cara were married at Circa in the Prince Hotel in St Kilda. It was a beautiful, tear filled emotional ceremony which included Justin’s two children who almost stole the day.
Cara and I were so happy with the care and attention you put into preparing for the ceremony and for the warmth and kindness you showed us both in the lead up to our big day. Ours was a special ceremony because not only were Cara and I starting our lives together as man and wife but we were also starting life as a new family unit as my two young children joined us. You were able to include the children in such a special way and your suggestions of how to include the kids was fantastic. Both kids were so comfortable with you and you made them feel so special on the day. This was an important aspect of the ceremony particularly for Cara and she was keen to publicly show all our family and friends not only her commitment to me but also to the children.
All of our family and friends who attended the wedding commented on the warmth and beauty of your words. I have many friends who commented that it was the most emotional wedding that they had been to and you were a vital part of that success. From our first meeting, Cara the kids and I felt like we had not just met a wonderful celebrant, but had made a new lifelong friend. We wish you all the best for the future and look forward to keeping in touch and keeping you up to date as the life you helped us begin progresses.

Amy and Luke were married in a beach ceremony at Sorrento. The bride was barefoot as a soft breeze blew in the late afternoon on a beautiful March afternoon. Absolutely beautiful beach weather for a beautiful couple.

Catriona & Peter
Catriona and Peter were married on the balcony of The Prince Hotel in St Kilda on a beautiful sunny warm March morning. The ceremony was full of classic style and sophistication mixed with tears and emotion. Wonderful!!
Catriona and I were married in a beautiful ceremony on the rooftop at the Price of Wales Hotel in St Kilda. Our celebrant was Deborah Cannon. We chose Deborah because she is a caring and genuine woman with a sense of style.
From the first meeting, she impressed us with her professionalism but it was her sensitive attention to detail, revealed through our first interview that won us over. Deborah did not try to impose herself on the ceremony, but her experience in these matters shone through. Her mature guidance in the preparation stages was also invaluable to us in helping to form our ideas on what we did and did not want on the day.
Both Catriona and I would not hesitate to recommend Deborah to any couple that may require the services of a highly competent, professional and may we say thoroughly nice person as well to conduct their marriage.
Peter and Catriona
Sacha & Andrew
Sacha and Andrew were married in the gardens of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on a perfect May afternoon as a harp music floated across the lawn.
We would like to sincerely thank Deborah for her professionalism and care, both leading up to and on the day of our wedding. From the first meeting through to the day of our ceremony, Deborah was understanding and accommodating to all of the cultural elements we wished to include in our ceremony, going as far as helping us research the origins of specific traditions. We were impressed with her relaxed yet professional manner, and feel that this made all the difference when preparing for our wedding. We appreciated her making the time for a rehearsal, as this helped ease the minds of all those involved, and made the day run a lot smoother than it may have otherwise been.
Thank you Deborah for delivering such a sincere and relaxed ceremony – our guests loved it, our families loved it and most importantly we loved it! We have received many compliments on how touching the ceremony was and equally about how well presented you were!
Many thanks once again,
Andrew and Sacha

Shannon & Russell
Shannon and Russell married each other for the 2nd time in a beautiful park on a sunny December day. With their daughter present to watch her parents recommit themselves we celebrated a tearful and heartfelt ceremony that meant more than words can express.
Russell and I would like to say thank you for all that you did in giving us such an emotional and beautiful beginning to our new life together as husband and wife, although it is our second time around together. You made sure that our simple union in the gorgeous park was special and you made us feel just as important as if there were a park full of guests.
We came to you with nothing but our wish to be married again, having nothing prepared, you sat with us and we talked. You managed to turn that meeting in to an emotionally filled ceremony with our feeling for each other formatted perfectly into our vows that not only reinforced our feeling but united our family again.
Your dedication and genuine passion made our day all the more special. Including our daughter who you made feel so important by allowing her to carry the rings and be part of the ceremony (up until she dropped them.) You are more than just a celebrant. You are a magnificent women with a big heart, so with heartfelt thanks we would recommend to anyone who wants just that little bit more on their day to give you a call.
Love Shannon and Russell
Anna & Dom
Anna and Dom live in Japan but returned home for their wedding on New Year’s Day. They were married at the lookout below the Lighthouse at Aireys Inlet in front of their immediate family and close friends in a very informal, relaxed, personal and intimate ceremony. It was a lot of fun to be a part of their day.
I want to say thank you! You were awesome! And I loved the dress! I got a lot of comments from people about how cool it was that your dress matched mine. The ceremony was so relaxed and so much fun. It was great knowing that even before we arrived, you were down there taking care of everything.
